Techvia Alliance - Microsoft

Microsoft is going to shut down its developer-focused MSDN Magazine, after the three decades of publication. Microsoft will resolve all its older issues of MSDN Magazine and make them available online. The move is taken after the software giant migrated all of the magazine’s technical resources to websites including docs.microsoft.com, the Visual Studio Subscriptions portal and The Visual Studio Blog. The remainder of subscribers after the last issue of MSDN Magazine will be refunded by Microsoft. MSDN Magazine has a legacy over three decades, it actually started getting produced under its current name since 2000. Microsoft merges its Microsoft Systems Journal and Microsoft Internet Developer magazines into a single publication at the time. Microsoft’s first programming publication ‘Microsoft Systems Journal’ started way back in 1986.
