Techvia Alliance - Google makes WhatsApp calling easier

Google’s Assistant allows us to send messages via the third party chatting apps including WhatsApp most of us already know about it. However, it uses the mobile data and Google Duo as a default for video calling whenever we ask the assistant to make an audio or a video call. The regular handset calling service is being used for audio calls. Now, through WhatsApp it will be possible to make audio and voice calls using Google Assistant. We can now simply give the ‘Hey Google’ command followed by ‘WhatsApp video [name]’ you can access hands-free audio and video calls with the Assistant starting in the WhatsApp Android app. This features will not be working on iPhones even if you have WhatsApp and Google Assistant app installed and also not sure that it will come to iPhones or not. The number of new devices that will be get Google Assistant (Assistant's Ambient Mode) include the upcoming Lenovo Smart Tab M8 HD and Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab and the new launched Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2. At present they are available in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Canada, France, Australia and The Netherlands, with more countries to come before the end of the year. The Assistant will also be available to help us anywhere in the house and the backyard, with new battery-powered smart speakers.
